Dorian Benkoll at Corante interviewed New York Times tech writer and blogger David Pogue about his ventures into videography,  and turned up some surprising information about this major-media journalist's career path.

Pogue, who also has written a few dozen books and recently landed a show on the Discovery Channel, turns out to be a frustrated composer who graduated Yale as a music major... talents that came in handy on one of his recent videoblogs... setting his review of the iPhone to music.
