Congratulations! You have just taken the first step toward locating funding for your graduate education.

This website is designed to give prospective and current graduate students general and specific information about fellowships and research grants, and the process of applying for them.

The "Funding Sources" link takes you to two collections of "Fast Facts" information sheets: One about UNC-CH grants and fellowships, the other including examples of major awards made by external agencies, public and private.

"More Than Money" discusses why graduate students should apply for grants early and often...

The "Workshops" link goes to a list of on-campus opportunities to learn about grant-writing from experts, while the "Dates to Remember" link goes to a calendar of funding-related deadlines and events.

"Research@Carolina" is the home page for research-related information at UNC-Chapel Hill, including a "proposal toolkit," research policy documents, and Endeavors magazine.

Meanwhile, the menu at the left takes you to other parts of the Graduate School's website, or to the UNC-CH home page.
